Frosted Trees

Rambling about the interior of Whatcom County today, I happened upon this frozen, side-lit scene along the banks of the Nooksack river, near Welcome, Washington. It was 29 degrees Fahrenheit at the time and it felt wonderful!

Jim This shot iw a winter wonderland! I love the composition and the graduation of the tones. On a 35C day here a refreshing site.

So glad you stopped to capture this, Jim. Coming back from Gray's Harbor last Sunday, I saw some similar settings with early morning frost. Difference is I didn't stop :(
