I decided to head out to Armand Bayou Nature Center because the Martyn Farm Harvest Festival was going on. The weather was very nice. I walked around for a while and was trying to figure out how to get some people photos of the participants. What I found is that if I struck up a conversation with somebody that after a while I could ask to take some photos and they would be agreeable. That allowed me to set up the shot rather than trying to do a street photography style. I ended up with several nice ones. These people really got my funny bone with their sign. They said they had a lot of fun with it and found out that people they would meet who had chosen to go gluten free had no idea what gluten actually was. I am not surprised. The average American is stunningly stupid unless the topic is Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian or Dancing with the Stars. Woe is me. These people vote.
