Belted Whiteface (Leucorrhinia proxima)

This photo shows a close-up of the wing venation of the forewing. Note the downward-pointing triangle on the bottom half of the forewing. The number of rows of cells to the right of the triangle can be used to identify this species from the similar-looking Frosted Whiteface. Belted Whiteface has three rows of cells, while the Frosted Whiteface has only two.
