Pocket Power

I keep getting drawn back to m43 cameras because their strong quality:size ratio.
At pixel peeping levels they do not match the Sony but they are not so many miles apart.
I have found the baby GM5 is becoming a favourite, matched with the 20mm or the 12-32mm, it fits in a coat pocket and is perfect to take on walks.
Here are a couple from this little marvel from a walk along the beach this morning.

And last year was from the daddy Sony.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8
1/50s f/7.1 at 35.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

I still have a GF-1, still does well the 1.7 20mm. But, daddy 7r usually gets to go along. This little GM looks interesting, Bill V

Lumix prices are all over the board ~ what price range is this camera? I'm looking to replace my Canon G12 one of these days and have considered a Lumix. As for giving up my DSLR, no way! I need it to shoot the birdies! ;)

Sometimes I think about giving up DSLR. But out here with the wind, it comes in handy have a big rock around your neck. I must say that you are getting good results with it.

The bottom shot a year ago. This is one terrific image. I like how your eyes take right down the road. You should have this one hanging on your wall. Always great work from you, Bill. V.

That's a great little camera, of course it needs to be expertly steered.

I have stopped using my DSLR. I use Micro 4/3 exclusively. I love their quality.
