Roman Forum

The Forum Romanum was the center of life in Imperial Rome, evidenced by the many remains of triumphal arches, temples and basilicas.
For me, the Roman Forum is one of the most fascinating sites in Rome. I was so lucky that day to capture the beautiful clouds hanging above the Forum.

superb afternoon shot. And a testimony to how even the most powerful empire can go to pieces (in the early middle ages, Rome was depopulated, and was inhabited mainly by sheep and goat herders...)
