Beechwood dog

Beechwood Cemetery

In the heavy morning mist, I had to look twice to make sure this was not a real dog. Then I got closer and saw it was made from something like plaster of paris. It is on top of a grave and I wondered if perhaps dogs, or this breed of dog, had been special to the person buried there.

How very interesting to find this dog in a cemetery! It does almost look real except maybe for the cobwebs on its ears. But very nicely lit and captured. V.

1+1=2, you guessed right X-Tine, those two lives must surely be crossed together. I too thought it was a real one!

No wonder you thought it was real - very life like except for the cobweb between his ears!

Sweet find. I know of a grave that has a French bulldog with a crown!
