This should say "temporary home" of the Minnesota United Pro Football/soccer team. They are building a new stadium which will be located in Saint Paul. In the meantime it's nice that they are playing at the National Sports Center here in Blaine. We have 52+ soccer fields right now,but they are working on at least another (guessing) 12 fields they just sodded grass in last summer. The grass is looking pretty good now. There is also 4 (I think) Ice Rinks. The women's USA Hockey team was practicing here for the past winter Olympics. It's an amazing place right here in Blaine!
The NSC has been recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest soccer complex in the world. The recognition plaque from Guinness hangs in the NSC classroom.
