Color a Cop Car
by Breezanemom

Casselberry, FL

Every year at the mall down the street from my house there is a salute to American Heroes, including Fire/Rescue, EMS, NASA, Military and Police.
There are helicopters, boats, cars, SWAT team vehicles, fire engines, etc. from all over.
We try to attend each year and give our thanks to all of the people who keep us safe.
This year they had a "greet a cop" and "Color a Cop Car" area where you could meet a Sheriff's Deputy and, if you wanted, you could paint your hand and then press it to the police car.
The kids (and many adults) loved it.
I thought it was a great way to show kids that Police Officers are friends and can be trusted, especially with all the negativity nowadays in news.

That is a wonderful event! Paints a good picture of your hometown for sure. :) Photographically, if you could have taken one more step backwards so the tire wasn't cut off I would like it a touch better, but still a very nice shot that shows the colors and tells the story well.

This is pretty cool!!! It says a lot - all good - about your hometown. I love how you used this for the theme. Great thinking & very nice photo.
