The Elusive Hyoin Bae

Hyoin Bae is a Korean photographer living in Vancouver, Canada. She describes her work as opinions of beauty in the commonplace, and her photography is an investigation into humanism, and the human condition.

She has worked with Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Berlin Fashion TV, Hugo Boss editorial, and Gayeon Lee.

Rarely seen in front of a camera, the elusive and nomadic Hyoin Bae kindly allowed me to photograph her and her friends at her one-night showing of photographs; a collection from her travels and her hometown in Goesan, Korea.
