The day after the eclipse we headed for the Bay of Fundy, but not before stopping at Grand-Pre Historical site, near Wolfville, NS. The site commemorates some of the earliest Acadian settlement (some of the land was below sea level, so it involved an intricate dike system) and the expulsion of the Acadians in 1755.
