I had a routine appointment at the vet's office this afternoon, but moments after leaving I developed a blood clot and lost use of my forelegs. They actually went cold!

Fortunately, mom almost immediately noticed that something was wrong and drove around the block back to the vet's office. They gave me fluids and kept me warm while the clot apparently dissolved on its own.

Although I survived the initial problem, I was still weak when we got home. Mom helped me to the dry food bowl and propped me up with her knee while I ate.
