I arrived about 6:30 that morning to photograph this cotton gin as the sun was coming up. I loved the warm lighting and clouds overhead.

Built in the 1950s. When I asked permission to photograph this plant the people were more than delighted since is a historical landmark and yet still in operation. I must have taken about 300 photos of the outside. I didn't shoot any of the inside so as not to disturb the workers and safety precautions. By allowing me to photograph this cotton gin, in return I will be giving them a photo CD of all the best shots.

Should have seen my shoes when I got home after the shoot though...full of mud!!!
