Distillery District, Toronto, Ontario

no shortage of spirits haunting Toronto's revitalized Distillery District, where Victorian era buildings are now rife with shops and cafes

in the late 19thC Gooderham and Worts was the largest distillery in the British Empire...during Prohibition in the early 20thC USA, they indirectly supplied lots of booze to the illegal market south of the border
