This is the location the Hawk flew too after its confrontation with the Black squirrel ( see http://www.pbase.com/image/161598425 ). I had to sneak out the back door to get this shot as I could no longer see the hawk from the window. Luckily, it stayed put when I opened the squeaky door and it stayed long enough for me to get some shots. It flew off when a dog-walker passed by on the other side of the fence.
Note: I first thought that this was a juvenile Hawk, however, as Tom Munson pointed out, it is an adult. So, why was it afraid of the squirrel? I'm wondering if it might have an injured foot as not once in the 10 minutes or so I watched the action, did I see it's other foot. It was always standing on its right leg/foot.
