The weather has continued to be very nice for photography. If anything, it would be nice to have some fluffy clouds in the sky. We started the day with a visit to Mesa Arch in Canyonlands for sunrise. There were lots of photographers there. Some of them rather pushy. We got some very nice shots in spite of the jostling of the crowd.
In the afternoon we had the opportunity to hike up to Delicate arch. It was a bit of a trudge up there because it was hot and the sun was very strong. Once you arrive at the top the arch itself is quite beautiful. There were probably at least a hundred people hanging around there. There was almost always somebody under the arch posing for photographs. For some reason standing there with your arms outstretched over your head was a popular pose. This view is a lot better than the one from the overlook area. The latter is a long way away.
