This was the first day of our photography course. The leaders are very experienced leaders and photographers with a lot of experience in Arches and Canyonlands. We started out with a sunrise shoot at La Sal Mountains overlook. This is a place Dave knows well. It is a great shot into the Three Gossips and Sheep Rock. Ginny and I both got a boat load of nice photos. We headed out to Landscape Arch for the rest of the morning's shooting.

After lunch we had a group session where you could bring your photos for critique and discussion. It was fun. In the afternoon we headed for a Colorado River overlook with Fisher Towers and the La Sal mountains in the background. This is a panorama I shot from that overlook. The weather is actually getting clearer so the mountains were much better than last week. We shot the sunset at Fisher Towers up close and personal.
