I don't think she was actually after a salmon here, she is just crossing the creek to go look for the cubs who wandered off early in the fight. They were chasing a Ziploc bag that someone had been using as a rain shield (it was drizzling off and on). A gust of wind took it and no one could catch it. The wind took it near the cubs and they went off chasing it. Our guide headed over to the area on his ATV and finally got it after the cubs lost interest.
