Norah on the run

We passed through the valley and watched our step as we crossed an alluvial fan/rock field. We passed through Marmot Campground near the southwest end of the lake and the trail entered a forested area. It was a short 2 km/1.3 miles to Berg Lake Campground. It took us less than five hours from Kinney Lake - so we made pretty good time. We were early to the campground and more or less had our pick of sites. We found a good site with some stumps set up as a table and chairs which was convenient for eating. We had lunch and decided we had some time to go for a walk up to Mumm Basin. Mumm Basin is 5 km/3 miles and 500 m/1650 feet ascent from Berg Lake Campground. The first part of the hike is an easy walk through the flats to Robson Pass Campground.
