After sunrise we broke down camp and were on our way to Berg Lake. We had 14 km/8.7 miles and 657 m/2155 ft ascent. From Kinney Lake campground we continued along the lake and the Robson River. Norah and I took the high route through a forest high above the alluvial plain. The forest was beautiful here and I thought Norah was apt in calling it a "Fairy Forest". When we returned a few days later we all took the low route through the alluvial plain; possible this time of year because the water levels are low enough.
