Spring Bloodwood

Corymbia ptychocarpa
Most eucalypts have creamy-white flowers, but not this one!
As its name suggests, Spring Bloodwood occurs in damp places, often around springs at the base of sandstone outcrops.
I took this photograph in Kakadu National Park (Northern Territory, Australia), where the species occurs naturally.
