Oberbaumbrücke spanning the Spree

Seen here from the eastern bank, this 19th-century bridge connected East Berlin (Friedrichshain) with West Berlin (Kreuzberg). The Wall ran along the eastern bank and its remnants now form the East Side Gallery there.
