Clean and Green

This shot is an homage to Lin Onus who is a famous aboriginal artist. His famous, work,
Fruit Bats,
hangs in the Art Gallery of NSW.
The photograph was not staged, and was taken in the
student's backyard whilst searching for inspiration.
At the time, I was working with aboriginal Fine Arts students for a local university.

Thanks very much Hal.
It is an old shot but I still love it because it was "just there" at the time.
The student didn't continue her studies and has since passed on,
I desaturated that background to eliminate the distractions and the brilliant colours.

How clever of you to see and to create
this brilliant image, Elaine.
The bright green against the monochrome background
makes this a really outstanding image.
l hope that Lin Otus sees it.
