Super Moon Eclipse Rising

Tucson, AZ

Catching this "super" Moon rising as the eclipse was already underway.
The maximum for this particular eclipse was pretty much 100%, leaving
a nice red "Blood Moon" about an hour and a half after this shot.

Lucky you to have been in an area that was cloud-free! Here in northern CA we had scattered clouds tat obscured the first part of the rising of the moon, but later gave way to the spectacular blood moon, but it was already fairly high in the sky, reducing the "super" effect. Also here the eclipse was more angled top to bottom, unlike yours there in Tucson. Good for you getting such an exciting image, and so very well done!

Its interesting to see where we live on Earth gives us a different view of the eclipse, for us in England the eclipse started from the top left, sadly not as spectacular as your picture!
