Water trickles in from the top over some plastic spacers in order to increase dissolved oxygen. The eggs are laid on the window screen suspended just below the surgface. As the larvae hatch, they can swim away from the egg shells, but double wrapping window screen around the overflow pipe keeps them from leaving.
