We were at Zion National Park today. The weather has been nice. Haze has been a problem because of a forest fire north of St. George. In the morning we had a nice stroll up the Virgin River to the start of The Narrows, a slot canyon which many people choose to walk up via the river bed. Not me. I choose to stay dry.
We had a nice lunch then headed to Springdale where we were to stay the night. In the afternoon the instructors had some lectures about photography. It was interesting to see their take on things.
In the evening we headed for a sunset photo shoot back in Zion at the Watchman. It was an iconic view, but with most people standing in the same spot more or less, you don't expect any unique pictures.
Today's photo shows Ginny lining up her shot on the Virgin River.
