I just returned from a very quick business trip to DC. I spent this particular evening
traipsing about the National Mall in very oppressive heat (81F) and humidity (74%).
I walked almost 5 miles in about 4 hours and wound up drenched in perspiration.
I forgot my travel tripod on this trip so I had to make do with bracing against an object
or hand holding. I used the flag pole here to catch this view of the Washington Monument,
but the slight breeze made longer exposures difficult because the flagpole was moving.
