The most beautiful tram line in Zurich
The vehicles in the Tram Museum are admittedly historic, but a long way from being scrapped! The oldest Tram built in 1897 still travels along the Museum Line. The Museum Line is part of the Zurich Transport Company VBZ network and runs all year, connecting Burgwies with the centre of Zurich. The Museum line is run by the Tram Museum and is certainly the most beautiful line in the city. It travels along both the Bahnhofstrasse and Limmatquai, and on which the visitor is attended by volunteer personnel in authentic historic uniforms. No wonder that the line, again and again, provides a visual feast for Zurich’s residents and visitors.
