Plantation Home

Missouri City, Texas

Our area was the home of sugar cane and later, cotton, plantations.
Not many of our plantation homes remain today, mostly because of hurricanes and poor planning by developers.
This one is named "Heaven on Earth" and is often used for wedding venues nowadays.
There are magnificent 150 year old Live Oak trees and sprawling gardens surrounding it.

Very nicely composed image of this beautiful home. I like the way it is partially hidden by the vegetation. Great choice of tones. "V"
