We drove from Portland to Sacamento today. It was a long haul, but the weather was good. California is a weird state. As soon as we crossed the border we had to stop for an agricultural inspection. The were curious about if we had any citrus. We had four oranges we picked up at various breakfasts over the last few week. The officer wanted to know where we got them. We had no clue. It could have been Kelso, Tacoma, Boise, Cheyenne or Amarillo. He didn't like the answer and decided to confiscate them. He asked what he should put for the origin in his records and I told him I really didn't give a rat's patoot since he confiscated them and they were his now. He said he would write down Kelso. I figured he chose that one because he was able to spell it.

BTW, this is a shot Ginny got of Mt. Shasta.

That would be so funny if it was not true.
I have a similar story for something that just happened, I will send you an email.
