We spent the day in Bend, Oregon and did quite a few things. In the middle of the afternoon we headed out to Bend Distillery for a tasting and a tour, which was free. We each got our choice of six liquors to try. There was vodka, gin, infused vodka and a rye whiskey. It was fun to taste them and compare. I though a hot pepper infused vodka was not good at all. It was way too hot. The gins were unremarkable. The rye whiskey was OK. So we took the tour and ended up buying three bottles of liquor for the road. It was fun. The weather was ideal. Our friends are the best. The peasants rejoiced. Peace returned to the realm. Life is good. On to Lincoln City tomorrow.
