1982 Aston Martin Lagonda

Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, Yeovil, Somerset

HAYNES DESCRIPTION:

Designed by William Towns for the year 2000, this Lagonda was a no-expense, four door sports saloon that weighed in at more than two tons and at almost eighteen feet long, is almost as long as a Cadillac. The long flat bonnet conceals the tried and tested Aston Martin V8 which at 320BHP, is powerful enough to carry four people and their luggage from 0-60MPH in just 7 seconds and deliver a top speed of 145MPH on the autobahn. In common with many hand built motor cars it is rare to see one in action on the road today.
