Ye Olde Photographer has previously done a series on
this crane, a product of the Phoenix Iron Works once
found down the road in Phoenixville, Pa. A few years
back it was a delicious display of earthy rust tones
and textures. But alas, it is now de-rusted and painted
to look like new. YOP is quite sure the new look is
better for the long term preservation of the crane,
but is really glad he got the grittier shots earlier!
