On our way to Cheyenne, WY, we stopped for a visit to the Colorado state capitol. We had visited two years ago but the dome was shrouded and the interior of the dome was covered for renovations. This time around, everything was finished. We were hoping for some nice photos of the exterior, but Mother Nature decided to rain on our parade. We did take the free tour which was worth the price. This was a short interlude in our day's travel.
