The basic technical aspects of this image are well executed, although there is some over-exposure at the bottom of the rapid. (That's difficult to avoid with this approach to photographing moving water.) Since the small rapid is the main point of interest you could have highlighted it more by cropping, particularly from the left, but this is obviously a personal choice for you to make. The relatively tight crop at top and bottom while keeping a broad horizontal perspective tends to give the image an unbalanced feel.
