One of the main purposes of close-up nature images is to show viewers details that they may not see with their naked eyes. You have achieved this in parts of your image but unfortunately many details are lost because the very narrow depth of field has caused them to be out of focus. You had an interesting subject and it was in an interesting position, using a much smaller aperture would have given a stronger image.
