The gull floating in water gives a basic nature story. The story would be stronger if the gull was doing something else as well, such as eating, bathing or interacting with other gulls. The off-centre composition leaves a lot of unnecessary space on the right and your reason for doing this is not obvious. The top of the gull's head is over-exposed and most of the rest of the image is under-exposed.
