Your chosen shutter speed has given the water a very dramatic appearance that emphasises speed and power. This has been further emphasised by the closeness of the water in the foreground. It could be argued that this is a more natural way of depicting a waterfall than the more common approach that uses a slow shutter speed to give a milky appearance to the water. There is a hint of over-sharpening in the water but I can accept that this was a deliberate choice. Given the wide dynamic range, you have done a good job of capturing and reproducing details in both the shadows and highlights, with just a small lost of detail in the large dark area to the left of the centre. Whether or not the image would be better if not cropped quite so tightly on the top and left is debateable. MERIT
