Two images of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds perched on the petals of Zinnia flowers.

Top Image: Partial support on the petals supplemented by some wing flapping.


Full support with no wing-beat assistance. Note, how these petals are somewhat more vertical than in the top image. Also note, how he grabs on with his little talons.
