MIXED MESSAGE
This one may require a bit of explanation for most pBasers: The Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League
(commonly referred to as Riders) have by far the most successful marketing department (if not the win record!) of the League.
The Rider Nation is nationally known for its loyalty, as well as its dispersion across the country. You can find Rider regalia in every province.
You can buy Rider jerseys, ball caps, T-shirts, tank tops, etc. almost anywhere; they even have their own Rider-labelled bread!
And in Mexican resorts you can find ball caps that jointly tout the Riders and Veradero.
Of course, they have special government-issued Rider license plates available (at extra cost; I expect the government
splits its extra income with the Rider organization). This "fan", however, seems to present a mixed message,
with his plate touting the rival Edmonton Eskimos.
