Apré Shred Winter Ale - Bourbon Barrel-Aged - Big Choice Brewing - Broomfield, Colorado

8.2% ABV - this barrel aged version has a slight bourbon nose alongside the ginger root. This beer is highly carbonated with a moderate hop character. Initial taste is Bourbon and barrel funk (common wild yeast trait I have found in many barrel aged beers). Cherries, cinnamon, vanilla, ginger root take over mid way with a slight honey taste on the back end.
