the Ford Motor Company
produced the Model A in various forms [including the
Phaeton {a term which describes a “sporty open carriage”,
usually drawn by 2 horses {and later used to describe open
touring cars}] between 1927 and 1931. The first Model A
[which was called a 1928 Model at the time] was sold on Dec. 2,
1927, and by July 24, 1929, Ford had sold two million of them.
This one was at a roadhouse in Kybong, Queensland.
