Pershing Auditorium was dedicated on March 10, 1957. The auditorium was named for General John J. Pershing. The seating capacity was 7,500.
The front of the auditorium has a mural thats is 38 by 140 foot. The mural has 763,000 ceramic tiles and depicts Lincoln life. The auditorium is no
longer in use, and the contents was auctioned off in early 2015. It's future is uncertain.
