I was up on the deck shooting a nice thunder cell west of me. Most of the activity was far enough away that I wasn't too concerned.
Then this one hit and the crack of thunder was no more than a half second away from the flash. Done for the night. To put
the proximity into perspective, this was shot at 18mm on a full frame camera. So I'm happy I got almost all of the discharge in the frame.
