Today we leave Iceland. We had an early departure for the airport. When I woke up and looked outside, there was a nice moon and it was just at dawn. I ran outside and took a bunch of photos. The one I ended up choosing for today is the moon with the clock on the Hallgrimskirche. All of us at one tome or another have taken photos of the moon. It is really a bright object which your camera is not going to meter because it is so small. If you want a moon image you have to go long with the lens. So that is what I did. Now with 400 mm, you are not going to get the moon and a foreground object both in focus. So I chose the moon. Even though the church clock was quite far away, you can see that it is a soft part of the image. So, anybody from Reykjavik will probably recognize the clock which would put the photo in context for them. For the rest of everybody, you have to take my word for it.
