St Mary in South Zeal
Constructed in Dartmoor Granite
St Mary's Chapel was a medieval chantry chapel attached to South Tawton Church.
The chapel is set in the centre of the village. The building housed a village school for 200 years until the national school was built in 1874. The chapel was rebuilt in 1713 and restored in 1877

The Market cross dates back to the 14th-15th century

Looks old! I think the clock is an incongruous addition to the chapel. I bet this scene would be lovely without the cars. It would be just like the old times. :)
