Wonderful lighting while contrasting nicely with the darker sky and possible stormy weather. Wonderful detail and colors in the fishing trawlers in this well designed capture. Voted

The dark sky intensifies the colors of the boats. A beautiful maritime scene and capture! V

What an awesome sky you had! It really adds to this colorful dockside scene. V

Beautiful, bright colors under the somber sky.

Excellent color and light in this fine composition. It's nice to see the sunshine with that threatening sky in the background, too. V.

Superb contrasted light between the dark sky and the red/blue/white colors of the boats. V.

Red white and blue for a cheery harbor decoration and to scare away the angry clouds. V

They look happy in the sun...as I'm sure the photographer was too :))

You got some good light anyway; it has a nice clarity and purity to it, which sits well against the grey fluffiness of the clouds as a backdrop.
I do wonder about the Black Tigress; it reminds me of the Blue Raja from Mystery Men, who wore every colour but blue. (Though admittedly there appears to be a band of black around the bottom of the wheelhouse.)
And it's a more interesting name than the "Mary Maria" alongside which seems to be pounding the one note a little too much. It would be like me calling my boat the "Alan Big Al Alfonzo The A Man". Not that I would have a boat, of course, but it's a hypothetical boat. I shall simply refer to that one as N974 or "Hey Red..."

Wonderful capture of the 2 fishing boats! The dramatic sky adds so much to this scene! V

those stormy days can be most rejuvenating.. fine shot, although the Black Tigress looks on the blue side..
