I had led a field trip for the Best Shot group out to the sewer ponds at Swan Lake on a Saturday. Turned out to be raining, snowing, etc, so the images were not particularly good. I posted a few shots on their website and got some surprisingly good comments. I was following the weather and it turned out Sunday was a gloriously sunny day, so went back out there and got these. The images were so far superior compared to the day before, I really wanted to show the participants the difference. So Kevin and I came up with the idea for me to put together a program for the photo club, which I did.
This is a Black-necked Stilt at first light.
