Zuoz

Imposing, palatial houses bear witness to the turbulent history of this village. Until the 19th century, Zuoz played an important role on the political and cultural scene and today is one of the best preserved villages of the Upper Engadin. The former restaurant the Crusch Alva, the San Luzum church, the village tower, the San Bastiaun chapel and the Planta houses are definitely worth a visit.

Such interesting architecture in this well composed image. Excellent light, too. V.

Great picture of the town houses, like your inclusion of that fine mountain middle left.

Lovely view of the buildings. I guess the roofs are steep so the snow will easily slide off. V
