We really enjoy using Italian trains,especially the fast trains like the Frecciarossa between Rome and Florence ... and beyond.
We make first class reservstions and choose our seats online, and print out our tickets at home before leaving for Italy.
We can just get on the train, avoiding ticket lines at the station.

Here I'm on the train between Rome and Florence, day-dreaming about being in my favorite city in the world... Firenze !
We have been going to Florence since 1974, and I never tire of being in a city where almost every building is of historical significance
and the Renaissance is still alive in the churches and museums..
Just being there is something I dream about after coming home from each trip, looking forward until next year's venture !
