Brandnäva is an extremely rare plant. It´s seeds
(like it´s related specie the more common
svedjenäva) can rest in the soil for more than a
hundred years. And efter they have been exposed
to a temperature of over 60°C, as during a forest
fire they start to grow. They grow for two years and
then the seeds of the plant rests in the soil till the
next forest fire!
